INITIAL SETUP
Complete the setup wizard to create your owner account, configure your server, and add your first media library.
Create Owner Account
When you first access FluxPlay, you'll be guided through the setup wizard. The first account you create becomes the Owner with full administrative privileges.
Account Details
Important: The first account becomes the Owner and cannot be changed later. Choose your credentials carefully.
Server Configuration
Server Name
Give your server a friendly name (e.g., "Home Media Server"). This appears in the interface and when sharing with others.
Timezone
Select your local timezone for accurate scheduling, timestamps, and scheduled task timing.
Add First Library
Libraries tell FluxPlay where your media files are stored and what type of content they contain.

Security Setup
After completing the basic setup, we strongly recommend enabling additional security measures.
Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security using an authenticator app (TOTP) or email codes.
Passkeys
Enable passwordless login on supported devices with biometric authentication.
Setup Complete!
Your FluxPlay server is now configured and ready to use. The initial library scan may take some time depending on the size of your collection.
