Identification & Parsing

Standard Format

Using brackets [] or specific keywords systematically triggers the Edition Manager, allowing you to switch between cuts natively on any client.

Explicit Versioning

FluxPlay automatically groups varying resolutions underneath a single unified title entity. The client dynamically steps down resolving quality based on measured connection bandwidth.

Advanced Capabilities

NFO Overrides

Local `movie.nfo` files take absolute priority over metadata providers. Compatible with Kodi/Emby standards.

ISO & DVD Support

Experimental support for `.iso` and `VIDEO_TS` structures. Automatically parsed to extract the main title.

Extras & Specials

Store trailers, deleted scenes, and interviews in `extras/` or `specials/` subfolders for automatic detection.

Auto-Discovery

The scanner discovers sidecar subtitles matching the filename. Language codes are inherently parsed.

Movie.en.srt (English)
Movie.es.forced.srt (Spanish Forced)

On-Demand Download

Integrated natively with OpenSubtitles to fetch missing captions instantly during playback without halting or leaving the player.
