How to Create a Playlist

  1. 1Navigate to Playlists in the sidebar
  2. 2Click "New Playlist"
  3. 3Enter a name and optional description
  4. 4Choose playlist type (Video or Music)
  5. 5Add items by browsing or searching
  6. 6Drag to reorder items

Managing Playlists

Reorder Items

Drag and drop to rearrange playlist order

Click and drag any item

Remove Items

Remove content without deleting from library

Click remove icon or right-click

Edit Details

Change name, description, and cover image

Click edit on playlist page

Duplicate

Create a copy of an existing playlist

Playlist menu → Duplicate

Delete

Remove playlist (content stays in library)

Playlist menu → Delete

Quick Add

Add items from anywhere in the interface

Right-click → Add to Playlist

Playback Features

Shuffle

Randomize playback order for a fresh experience each time. Perfect for music playlists and movie marathons.

Toggle:🔀 button in player

Repeat

Loop the entire playlist or a single item. Three modes: Off, Repeat All, Repeat One.

Queue vs Playlist

Queue

Temporary list of items to play next. Clears when you're done or close the app.

Playlist

Saved collection that persists. Access anytime from your Playlists section.

Sharing Playlists

Share your playlists with other users on your FluxPlay server.
